Imli came to VOSAH five years ago from Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh, carrying a painful past. Her backbone was broken in two places, and the people who found her were taking her for euthanasia, believing nothing more could be done.

But we chose to give her a chance.

We brought Imli to VOSAH with a promise to care for her, protect her, and help her heal. Slowly, with love and dedicated support, she proved that hope can be stronger than pain.

Today, Imli is alive, healthy, and happy—moving around the shelter on her little legs, greeting each day with courage and joy.
