VOSAH Hapur began on 14 March 2021 with a simple belief — no animal should suffer alone.
What started as a small rented space of about 2,000 sq. ft., caring for just 25 rescued dogs, has grown into a safe haven for some of the most vulnerable animals.
How It Started
It began with one injured dog… left helpless on the street.
Seeing his condition, Harendra Singh couldn’t walk away. He chose to stop, help, and take responsibility.
That one decision became the beginning of VOSAH — a mission to rescue, protect, and care for animals who have nowhere else to go.
The Journey
The early days were not easy. There was limited medical knowledge, very few resources, and no easy access to surgical care nearby.
But even with these challenges, one thing never changed — the commitment to stand by these animals, no matter what it took.
Where We Are Today
Today, VOSAH Hapur is a growing shelter known for caring for paralysed and special-needs dogs.
Many of the animals here cannot walk. Some need lifelong care. And that is exactly what they receive.
- Safe
- Cared for
- Treated with dignity
- Never left behind
What We Believe
Every life matters. Every animal deserves comfort, care, and a chance to live with dignity.
At VOSAH, this isn’t just a belief — it’s something we practice every single day.

What Drives Us
Our Mission
Our mission is to provide a supportive and loving environment for paralyzed dogs in India. We believe that every dog, regardless of ability, deserves a chance at happiness and a loving home. Our goal is to provide the specialized care and equipment these dogs need to lead fulfilling lives, and to find them loving families through adoption. We are committed to giving a voice to those who cannot speak for themselves, offering hope to the hopeless, and showing kindness to those in need. We strive to create a world where every paralyzed dog is treated with dignity and love, and where no dog is ever left to suffer in isolation. We are dedicated to making a difference, one paw at a time.
